| The
word alone brings up memories of movie stars and millionaires,
celebrities and parties, skiing and snow,
cold crisp Rocky Mountain air, and scenery that will simply take
your breath away. |

| Aspen
Colorado is probably the most diverse and active small town
anywhere in the world. We are all of the above,
and we are a small, quiet town of loving
families and caring neighbors. But we all started out just
like you, wondering what we would end up doing
for the rest of our lives; who we would
love, where we would raise the families we hoped would
be our futures. We all came to ski,
to party, to love, and to live. Many
of us never left. |
| |
| This
letter is no hard sell. All it can do is ignite the spark of adventure
in you and present a possible fork in the road heading towards
your future. Did you know that the resort
of Aspen has hundreds of part and full
time jobs available? Did you know that this same resort relies on
hundreds of students just out of school, or
maybe a short break from studies, to
provide the heartbeat of the community workforce? Part and
full time jobs allow you to ski in the winter,
or hike in the summer. It takes some
effort and it takes some planning, but if you take the time, it
will be the best time of your life. |

| Working
for High Alpine Restaurant is one of the best opportunities around.
This restaurant is located at the top of Snowmass Ski Mountain,
one of the four ski mountains in the Aspen area. So you will
not only be able to ski or snowboard to work,
but part of the privileges of being
hired entitles you to a free four mountain ski pass for the entire
ski season! If that is not enough to
entice you, High Alpine Restaurant has
over 100 employees during peak season, providing you with an
outstanding working environment among your
peers. It is also a great way to meet
new friends. |
| |
Housing
is the most critical part of your plan. Although there is quite
a selection of seasonal rentals available, the best ones go fast
to the persons on the scene first, so don't put off the decision
to go until the last
minute. On the other hand, finding a great
place to live in a resort town is much
as it is in a college town; being at the right place at the right
time is most important. Coming out with a buddy or best friend is
your best bet so you can share expenses.
